Based on the author’s life story, this book will explore the anxiety-provoking thoughts and feelings of those who have experienced the death of an abusive, manipulative, neglectful, and toxic parent. It will discuss the impact of the death of an abusive parent on the victim, as well as how the toxicity can even transcend death. The book seeks to answer some of the following questions: What do you do when there has been no closure between the parent and (adult) child? What do you do when the parent-perpetrator dies but leaves evil plans with others to be carried out against their own child? And finally, how do you get back to the peace you previously worked so hard to obtain before his or her demise, but now all the wounds have been reopened? Under normal circumstances, there are many emotional and mental challenges after the death of any parent, but it can be especially difficult when there was no apology, no reconciliation, and now time has run out for even the slightest bit of hope.
